Most of these questions reach us in English every week. Rather than answer them one at a time, we have written them down. 毎週のように英語でいただくご質問です。一件ずつお返事する代わりに、ここに書いておくことにしました。
- Can I reserve?予約はできますか
- No. We have twelve seats and one griddle, so we take everyone in the order they arrive. Please just come. お受けしていません。十二席と鉄板ひとつですので、お越しになった順にご案内しています。そのままお越しください。
- How long is the wait?どのくらい待ちますか
- Around 18:30–20:00 you may wait 30–40 minutes. Right at opening, or after 20:30, you will usually walk in. 18:30〜20:00は30〜40分お待ちいただくことがあります。開店直後、または20:30以降でしたら、たいていすぐご案内できます。
- Is there an English menu?英語のメニューはありますか
- Yes, with photographs. You can also point at the griddle — that works too. 写真付きでご用意しています。鉄板を指さしていただいても構いません。
- Vegetarian or halal?ベジタリアン・ハラルは
- We can make okonomiyaki without pork or seafood. The sauce contains no meat. Please tell us when you sit down.to confirm 豚肉・魚介を使わずにお作りできます。ソースに肉は入っていません。お席で最初にお申し付けください。要確認
- Cards?カードは使えますか
- Visa, Mastercard and the main IC cards. There is an ATM that takes foreign cards two minutes away.to confirm Visa・Mastercard・主要な交通系ICがご利用いただけます。海外発行カードが使えるATMが徒歩2分にあります。要確認

- Of course. The counter is hot, so we seat families at the end where it is furthest from the griddle. もちろんです。鉄板は熱くなりますので、ご家族はいちばん端のお席にご案内しています。

Hiroshima style. Layered, not mixed.広島風。混ぜずに、重ねます。
Batter, cabbage, pork, then noodles and an egg — built in layers on the griddle in front of you. It takes about fifteen minutes, and that is the right amount of time. 生地、キャベツ、豚肉、そばと卵。目の前の鉄板で、重ねて焼いていきます。十五分ほどかかりますが、それがちょうどいい時間です。
